Scientific publications often show a strong bias when reporting same-sex sexual behavior in animals. As a result, many people believe that homosexuality is not natural or is only found in humans. This work features a column of electronic paper displays that are regularly updated with animals that are scientifically known to exhibit same-sex sexual behavior. Each display shows animals at the basic level of the skull, highlighting their similarities. The installation invites viewers to consider how scientific bias shapes our beliefs and, in turn, how those beliefs shape society.
