  • I Am

Ten autonomous microcontrollers, each with its own display, operate in an isolated, but synchronized manner. Individually, they possess minimal processing power. Together, they create a continuous line of questioning. Displaying the poem I ¿ I ? I by Lucas Goubert, this work plays on a fundamental question: when do machines begin to have an internal monologue? It invites the viewer to confront the desire to recognize intelligence, even when it is absent.
